Catalie Yip 

Saxophone & Clarinet Teacher

Catalie Yip started learning saxophone at the age of 12. She has studied Bachelor of Music in Education (Honours) in The Hong Kong Institute of Education under the tutelage of Mr. Martin Choy and Mr. Jeffery Chan. She has been an active band and ensemble player in her school life. She has participated in many band festivals and has performed throughout Asia-Pacific. In 2014, she became the finalist of MUSES Chamber Award in HKIEd. Currently she is working as a freelance musician and also an enthusiastic educator in Hong Kong.

Age suitable for learning:

At least 6 years old for saxophone;

Around 5 years old for clarinet (using plastic model)
